Is your tenant on SSI or SSDI and if he is receiving income it must be reported which decreases the amount of the government's cost, or in other words, the amount you pay through taxes. If the tenant is receiving disability benefits because he is mentally impaired then he has to have a representative handle his accounts. If so, do you know his representative?
