Ping for the Norway ping list.
After the experience of this morning, I decided that while "pickup-trucks-in-the-lake" stories attract a great deal of attention, they do not necessarily attract attention towards Norway, our gallant allies in the war against terror.
That was a rather raucous, riotous thread.
So in this second half of the news from Norway, the Nebraska of Europe, I retreated to the back pages. (Nobody goes to "chat" on Free Republic, but I thought it a good idea to try it out.) I hope to put Norway back on the front page tomorrow (Wednesday).
All the outdoor ice skating I've done has been on the pre-made ponds, maximum depth of 2 feet. I do remember when I was younger that the NBC station out of DC would remind people not to skate on the Potomac.
I have to go check out this morning's Norway update.
