Okay, FReepers, I really did it this time. I have been sick and hacking away for a few weeks. Mrs. DFU went to her knitting class tonight and gave me instructions to tape Channel 11 at 8pm.
I screwed up and woke up at quarter to 9. At least I'll be able to tape 24. She got home and was p*ssed.
Oh, man, did any of you record tonight's AMERICAN IDOL? If you can get me a tape, I owe you big time.
Hey, you Hawaii FReepers haven't seen it yet. Can you help?

She didn't miss much of a show. The 12 guys did their thing, but as Simon put it, they sounded like "bad Stevie Wonder impersonators.' The ST household is holding out hope for tomorrow's show (the 12 girls who made it).

I don't think I've ever been sick this long. Staying awake for 41 hours flying on a redeye and attending the FReeper Ball really screwed my immune system big time.

I didn`t tape it, but tell her to buy any CD after 1981 when the MTV holocaust came into being and destroyed all music as the world use to know it. She will find the same kind of karaoke crap on those as what is on American Idle, only it might be worse.

I watched it but didn't record it. They will only cut two of the guys after tonight so she won't really miss that much. The girls are on tomorrow night. I don't know if that will help but you can give it a try. Good luck. I'll pray for you. LOL
