hei, hei, dere norskie!!

dere Helga been cleaning dat closet! Dere Hargar got it stuff with clothes he des not wear. hehehehe.. it's Helga's old clothes not dere Hagar he wears animal skins. uff'da!!

An old college course books.

One book though dere Helga is keeping is "Realm of the Universe." Dere Helga took this course too, and loved it. The professor was a hippy and did not demand tests, provide we came to class, did the reading and in place of tests with his approval we could do projects relating to whatever we were studying at that point. I did a huge abstract picture using melted wax, water colors, daubs of clay -what ever I could get to stick to the heavy paper.

He loved it and gave me a good grade. Then took it to his other class he taught to use in the sessions there- younger students.

He died a few years ago, he was a good professor, one that knew how to teach.

A `Life` teacher through the art of the senses. Experiencing this way is wonderful. There are so many ways to sing the same song, yet we each hear it different.

Look at all the many voices who have sang the song `Amazing Grace`

We have listened and heard it all of our lives. When did we hear the words and comprehend the words? Did we always hear them? I heard them when they were sang real slow.

So often I have heard a song and only heard the music, then someone will come and lay the words upon my heart. The music may be altogether different.

The thing about waking up from our sleep time, is the very First thoughts we have in the morning, (or whatever the hour we wake) will often present in those first several `Seconds`. If we never pay attention to this, we really miss out on a lot, I know that I do.

Sometimes it might be a song, sometimes one word, two or three.

Sometimes it is a person or a place or a thing.

Our minds are clear upon awakening, before the tv or radio or the phone rings or doorbell or before our worries or concerns begin, or before we start thinking about our day at all!

First Thoughts upon awakening...

is it a muse ;)

* write these words or thoughts down that you might receive. Maybe some days are blank just then, but there are days when those thoughts are like gold nuggets!

Same way as when we are driving, or gardening, walking, or doing anything we might do without needing to be thinking hard on it. New thoughts come in. Life is Exciting! Everyday!

A Class in Wisdom

Like sand slipping through Fate’s ancient hourglass,
time flows past me at its own speed, never to return.
I have studied much of life along the weary way,
only to discover there is oh so much to learn,
and every bitter-sweet lesson has a price, alas!

Wisdom is the sum of knowledge learned along the way,
from sometimes complex experiences we moved through
And as each moment lived its time and then did pass,
all too oft, that experience was bad, yet we’d still do,
for the moments grand they encompassed, we still will pay.
