Criticize what he says; I am sure he could take that. But ad hominem daily insults of his intelligence is, as Sean says, just plain vicious.

By the way, FR is not really a "we." It is so big and open to so many different individuals. I too felt slapped by his dismissal of us as a "we" because I consider myself a good Freeper. But there will always be people who don't maintain decency and civility here, and someone in the public eye will be more influenced by the nastiness of that person than by the awesome selection of news and commentary here.

Instead of taking some criticism as constructive coming from the conservative base, he is engaging in the same behavior for which he accuses Free Republic.

Save for the campaign, his show now gives liberals more time to drop sound bites. Every time I hear Sharpton, Rengel, and (then DNC Chair) McAwful, I'd hope Hannity would directly challenge them. I was too often disappointed, because Sean would sound too distracted or obliging to them.

A I said yesterday, his radio show would do well to promote conservative ideas, ideals, up and comers in the conservative realm.
