I don't think things will be any worse this year than they have been in the past. Lance has already surpassed the major records, and has tested clean while doing so. They can't "stop" him any more.

Today's news is good news, and early too! Word was that Lance would not make an announcement until after the major races coming up in the next 6 weeks.
