Hi, I am seeking advice on what to do with my (soon to be) 12 yr-old butterscotch baby girl named Wazoo. I was wondering if any of you have ever heard of Air Animal and if so, if they are any good at getting creatures across the pond. I am over here in England doing graduate work, and Wazoo is with her Aunt Laura in Fort Worth. I love and miss my little girl so much, but am afraid of what the stress of moving her over here would do. Just in case, she has been microchipped and had all that stuff that needs to get done to get her a "passport". Has anyone else had the dilemma of leaving a furry loved one or transporting a furry loved one? I do love her enough to let her stay in Fort Worth, but if it's not that bad to get her over here, I would love to do that. Anybody know? P.S. I'll post her picture next week! She licks noses...and she's been a loyal and best friend for over a decade now...Thanks for any advice!
Well, you know I've never moved a kitty across the pond. My location is just not appropriate for my cats.
What does your vet say about it? Could you go back to Ft. Worth and take her back across with you in the cabin?
I'd check all of that out first.
Finbar licks noses, too. Lulls you into a false sense of security and then he nips it.
I flew Magic Bear and P Bear from California to Virginia, and I was a basket case the entire time. I watched out the window while they loaded the luggage to make sure the cats got on, then panicked while we were on the ground in Dallas for fear that the heat would be too much for them.
The next time I flew them nonstop. They were ticked off, but arrived unscathed.
