I'm waiting on my wife to get home from work...I fixed a nice dinner and since she's on a diet I did not buy candy. I bought a box of sugar-free Klondike bars and decorated them with red and white icing. Obviously we don't have a lot of money but we raised two good kids that are well on their own and we love each other like a couple of kids. now that I'm older I'm glad our house is small. It makes it easier to chase her around the place...and catch her now and again (and again) too I might add.

( Despite the cost of living, have you noticed how it remains so popular?)

Oh wow. I'm very impressed. There is still romance left in this world and I think you have managed to be very creative. I love it and I'm sure your wife will too.

For some reason, tho', I'm picturing Tim Conway in his old man costume taking little bitty steps. I hope you're in better condition than that, tho', Sierrahome!
I didn't know that Klondike bars come in a sugar-free variety. Was the red and white icing ALSO sugar free?!!!!!! I'm sure she appreciates your thoughtfulness about her diet.
