Ever been to South Padre Island? Way down south by Brownsville?

Texas is 183 men standing in a church, facing thousands of Mexican nationals, fighting for freedom, who had the chance to walk out and save themselves, but stayed instead to fight and die for the cause of freedom.

Are you crazy? TX-183 is a road called "Airport Freeway" in Irving right in front of Texas Stadium, home of the yucky Dallas Cowboys.

What was that? The Alamo? Oh. My bad.

Does it resemble most of Florida? If so, it's probably pretty nice.

The best view of Texas is the rear view mirror in your car when you're leaving.

The best but perhaps longest definition is "Texas", the novel by James Mitchner.

I read sections from time to time just for fun and continued amazement of the conflict creating the state. Those forces can be extrapolated and we are seeing that action today.

Texas is dynamic, not static
