"does anyone like grackles?" I think Budge does. I don't see to many here, or haven't so far. I think he hasn't really had to battle with them.

Call me crazy but I think Grackles are very interesting birds. They are highly social, adaptable, and intelligent. They should, however, be taken in small doses as nobody wants to listen to the "sweet" song of the Grackle for very long. I once knew a girl who was absolutely creeped out by them(near phobia-level).

does anyone like grackles? No. I always go out and bang pots and pans with they come in in droves and try to roost. My small town also has a cannon that they use to make loud enough noise to make them leave.
