This is for you! I use to see Mockingbirds all over the neighborhood and never in my yard. I put a real small bowl of grape Jelly and they finally came visiting. It took them a long time to come. When they finally did they always were here. They fight over the jelly. I love it when they are hanging on a nearby branch going through their songs. It's like they are doing a show for us when were on the deck.

Hehe... The Mockingbirds have such attitude. We had loads of them when I was growing up. Funny birds. Of course, I find all of them funny in their own ways. Thanks for the pic.

I'm so excited. There was a Mockingbird in the yard, and at the feeder, this morning. He wasn't a very big one, either, but he managed to run off 3 of the Red-winged blackbirds, and they don't seem to scare off that easy. I had just decided to get one of those fruit, jelly and mealworm feeders, although I haven't yet. Now I will have to hustle up on that.
