In August, Sizemore was arrested at his West Hollywood home after police allegedly found a controlled substance while conducting a random search of the property.

In case you were unaware, dopers who get busted and are convicted are generally required to submit to random searches by the authorities as a condition of parole or probation.

He was on probation. I suspect he agreed to random
searches. He had a choice, and could have declined.
So unless you're also on probation, or parole, stand
easy.

Sounds like he was confident he could beat the system.
