Speaking of Easter, Am I the only person in the world who still recognizes the Easter season as the most holy of Christian holidays?

Alan Colmes of Fox's Hannity and Colmes, didn't like the movie, stating it was just a bad movie because it had "contextual" problems or weaknesses. What I think he means is that it didn't make sense to him.

While Christians are glad at the movie's general faithfulness of the content to Scripture, those who don't understand those basics, need to be told ahead of time what to look for and some of the basics.

I'd suggest calling our theaters to see if they're planning on carrying it, asking them to do so, and then prepping the friends we plan to take!! It is God Who changes the heart giving the ability to hear the message, but we are still called to proclaim the need for salvation, and that reconcilliation has been provided by the Christ portrayed in "The Passion."

It has been slightly edited to remove some of the violence done to Christ, but most is still there

Why? I timed the scourging scene and I believe it came out to about 10 minutes. It is extremely upsetting but that is the point of the film. A portrayal of what Christ most likely went through to save the world...
