I don't see how anyone can read an article like this and deny that the media is liberal.
Some local parents and grandparents said they wouldn't mind having children see an episode that mentions gay parents, while others said they'd need to know more about the episode to make any decision.
That's it. There are people who think it's fine and people who haven't made up their minds yet. The reporter couldn't find even one person who thinks that exposing children to deviant sexual practices is just plain wrong?
Dina George of Rock Island, whose daughter, Hailey, 7, attends Jordan Catholic School, said the episode would not bother her....
See? Even the nice catholic mothers think it's fine. All those other Christians who disagree must be the oddballs.
Education Secretary Margaret Spellings wrote a letter to PBS in January that said she had serious concerns about the episode,
Finally. One person who is concerned... but wait... why is she concerned?
that some parents might not want their children exposed to different family structures.
Different Family Structures? Here's a hint Jenny Lee, jlee@qconline.com. If they were concerned with different family structures they'd be upset with cartoons showing single family parents. I doubt you'd hear much commotion over that.
