I've always had a great deal of respect for the Jewish faith, including their lack of proselytization and their desire to discourage conversion unless the community is sure that the would-be convert truly wants to be Jewish and is not doing it for the wrong reasons. I haven't studied anything of Quabbalah since college, but from what little I remember I can be sure that none of the folks practicing this "religion" would have a chance of living up to the behavioral standards that the original adherents strived for.
From what I've read, this isn't really Kaballah. It's a cult run by some failed real estate tycoon named Berg and his wife.
Personally, I'm waiting to hear how Madonna gave up her entire fortune to this huckster. Ah the joys of Schadenfraude!
