It may be a little while before 'we' respond to your email. I've got supper cookin' THEN it's time to go feed/hay/water. THEN, it'll be time to take our 'second son' , home.
I'd agree except the vet checked his eyes and said they are fine. It's not the blue of an injury or moon blindness but an icy blue. Although I did leave word for the vet to call me when he gets back from his family reunion cause it's odd and I've never seen it happen before.
No - when the vet looked at his eyes, they were both dark.
LOL baby steps are all I can manage right now!
You don't sound condesending, I know I have got a lot to learn and have only recently started getting a lot more confidence to want to do more things than jump on and ride!
I guess helping Sugar foal and doing all the imprinting and toweling off etc whilst quaking in my boots, was a BIG step forward in confidence gaining! : )
I forgot to mention all the photos I took of the birth and the reporting back via Emma, I will NEVER forget that moment! : )
No, it's not moon blindness - don't know what it is. It almost seems like the blue eye color of horses with the champagne dilution gene.

Notice he's shedding out yellow on his nose and around his eyes. The last picture was obtained by letting him chew on my camera:)
Don't know why the middle picture didn't show up. The amount of blue keeps changing - maybe dependent on the light?
good photo! How is your camera holding up?
The eye does look strange, but maybe it will disappear again and stay that way. : )
Especially if I have some pictures along with the postings! I love taking pictures. M
Welcome to FR, M, and welcome to the saddle club thread!
Wow, it's really confusing to have more than one "Tuffy" on the the thread! :-)
'Course the mare that just foaled foaled later than usual and in the middle of the night and she always foaled mid afternoon before.
Oh, I've been here for awhile, only looking at some topics of interest and whatnot. Seems alright.
Well, We got a lot accomplished today! We now have a functional guest room instead of just a pile of frap in the back of the house! I'm pooped.
Gonna hit the couch as soon as I send you and your mom an email. Good night everyone! :~D
You know, if he sees just as well out of that eye I'm going to call it a feature. I think it looks pretty cool. He's a gorgeous flashy colt with a twinkle in is eye ;~D
He appears to see just fine out of it. We keep checking and looking at it and there seems to be no vision problem at all.
I have sent you the email with the rules so we can have that part over with... now... as promised before, I am gonna go relax a bit! Talk to you all in the morning~
Good morning
Becky
