Free Republic has a lot of horse people that have found each other on other threads…. And since we all like to talk horses, how about a thread where it is not off-topic, but is THE topic?
This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share. In the previous threads we have had a great time talking through lessons, training, horse lamenesses, illnesses and pregnancies... and always sharing pictures and stories.
I always have a link to this thread on my profile page, so if you have something to say and can't find the thread in latest posts… look for it there and wake the thread up!
I also have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and Becky pings everyone most mornings. Let Becky (Paynoattentionmanbehindthecurtain) and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list. As FreeRepublic is a political site, our politics and other issues will probably blend in…. There are many issues for horsemen that touch politics… land use, animal rights/abuse cases that make the news…. Legislation that might affect horse owners.
So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends. There are lots of ways of doing things and we all have our quirks, tricks and specialties that are neat to learn about.

Well, Tuffy, any sentence that contains the words "rear" and "squirt" make me a bit uncomfortable.
Can you get a group rate? Lightning is the only one who is a bigger operation now... the babes will be a piece of cake. ;~D

There is a site called ebaums world (or something like that) that has the funniest stuff that I've ever seen. There is one video where an animal control man is being filmed hawking the virtues of a cat they are trying to get adopted out. The cat goes more berserko than any other animal I've ever seen. It's funny because the guy is talking about how sweet and gentle the cat is, then the cat freaks out and bites the crap out of his leg, up near his groin area.

I've seen that one. It's HYSTERICAL. That guy's scream raises about 3 octaves when that cat latched onto his thigh. You could tell that he was seeing his noogies flashing before his eyes! LOL!
WOO HOO! And he has such a nice strip and snip on his face! I may not have risked to predict the time, but I got the color.... I see one definate white leg... not sure if I see the other rear leg as white or not. How many white feet?

ecurbh could really wreak havoc the historical record... Because I linked that pic 198 to the who's who and ecurbh can change the pictures at any time ;~D

First time I saw it I had tears running down my face. Kinda like I do now reading your reference to his 'nads as NOOGIES. I'm gonna have to redo my eyemakeup.
Heh... but that post looks pretty funny now...
I'll try to get some pics of Hoof Hearted for you. That was before the days of digital cameras and we don't have a scanner here at home. I'll try taking some of the old photos down to a photo lab and see if they'll scan them for me.
