1987 K-5 Blazer...man I love my truck!

A beat-half-to-death 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 Club Cab pickup. 136,000 miles, 16 mpg on the highway. It's rusting, the seats are ripped, the exhaust clatters, the bedliner's warped, it hasn't been washed in three years, and the dirt's about the only thing holding the paint on (mostly).
I love it. Not that I wouldn't mind a new Ram 1500 Hemi, mind you.

I've upgraded from my last car. Here's the new one, which is kind of a fixer-upper, but since this is a Friday joke thread:

I can see why you want to tear down those trees. That's a helluva view in your backyard.

2002 Sunfire and 2003 Saturn Vue.
The first ones a car, and the second one is the most useless, always broken down, vehicle from H*ll!!
I'm getting a new car next spring, and I'm thinking Honda.

That car there looks like the unmarked police car a friend of my brother's bought at a government auction. The only bumper sticker it had was a Fraternal Order of Police sticker on the rear window.

You can't tell in that pic, but I can see Long Island Sound and part of Long Island from my yard. It is really cool. I only have 1 tree left that really needs to go, but it's on town conservation land and I cam close to geting in trouble already. The fine is something like $50 per square inch of tree and it's about a 36" diam tree that needs killin, so the fine would be $204,000. It can stay for now.

There are no branches under 30'. Can I get a root killer that will not be traceable after the work is done? The tree huggers may be watching

I think there are chemiclal that are hard to trace, but do not know which. As for the tree huggers 0200 hours on a Monday morning, quick in and out.

Mel Gibson got in cahoots clearing trees around his property in Idaho last year. He ended up putting the dirt back where it was and had to replant several hundred trees he knocked down, all after paying a very stiff fine.

Or as here in TX, the only warning the city gets is me revving up the chain saw.

If nothing else, get a post maul and a large rail stake and knock the stake into the base of the tree late at night. The tree will slowly die off. Then it won't be worth keeping.

on behalf of the others who grew up in the sixties, may I point out that simple threads like this, when combined, can provide a lot of information to those who take the time to compile it.....
Spread out over many months you can find out : what kind of truck or car, where you live, do you have hgins, and on and on.....
Taken as silly little posts, you can reveal a lot more than you might tell the lurkers who are everywhere
