Dad used to have one of
these that we would take turns with whenever anyone needed to practice quietly. He would take it to work to play when it was slow, for one. It was used, as I recall, and a really good deal.
Actually they still have it...but he had it set up with heavy strings and tunes it an octave below normal tuning. It's a blast to play, but not exactly standard...weird to be playing this little violin and hearing what sounds like a bassy cello comin' out of the amp. Power rush!

Dumped water to start the day and dumped a cup of hot tea out on my desk to end the day... The only two times I was actually AT my desk today :P
It is a good thing my USB hub does not use an infinite improbability drive or who knows where my desk would have ended up.
I wonder how they verify the operating requirements of an infinite improbability drive... ouch, I have been writing to many requirements lately...
Time to go home! To bad I have a 4+ hour meeting tomorrow :P
