Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Tomorrow we may come this way...

New verse:

     | Upon the hearth the fire is red,Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
 Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!
 |
      |
      | Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!
 |
      |
Home is behind, the world ahead,And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
Well wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!
 |

A different family lived there when I moved in.... it was all wooded then and had a nice feel then, like this place does when you get back here.... They moved out when the store logged off all the trees and made it hideous.

They left without incident or arresting anyone.... no idea what was up.

    Weird.

Maybe the folks at the store know.

I'm heading home. See you all later!

They may have left without incident or arresting, but mark my words, they were there for a reason, and *did* something.

It was an awful lot of officers... detectives I'd imagine... in plain clothes.

Ahh, see now, I was just about to post a kilt.

The thread is dead, God save the thread.

Alas! I am home! I am happy!
Got a call from my brother. He's visiting tomorrow with his little family. He's seperating from the Navy next month and is doing the job search thang. Big job fair in our neck of the woods.
I'll get to see the cutest nephew ever and the new niece!

Ping to a Hobbit Hole friend who doesn't visit very often. We're always in the mood for a good chat.

    Evenin' everybody. Cool picture... :-)

[sigh] Yahknow... I went through all of yesterday thinking that it was thursday. It wasn't until late in the afternoon that I realized that I'd have to do thursday all over again today. I hate it when that happens.
