My much anticipated trip to Washington, DC started with my first airplane ride. What a trip!!! We said goodbye to California and hello to Texas. Then we said goodbye to Texas and hello to Washington, DC.


Did they say snow??? Yippee ….


MamaBear teaches me how to make a snowball.
She even lets me throw one at her; she is a great sport.



Now, I finally get to throw a snowball at Gramma Amy. Just one?


Who needs skates? I look just like those girls on TV.


I recognize these guys; my friend Sheila was right ….
The salmon was delicious.


Who is this? NnB? He likes to tease and make me laugh.


Inauguration Day …. We stand in line … and wait in line.
I hate this view. Time to leave?
But I didn’t get to see President Bush. *pout* *whine*


Well, at least I saw some pretty horses that were to be in the parade.
The highlight of the day so far. Much better than looking at legs all morning.


The Ball!! I meet several other young people.
After eating, we watch cartoons and play games.
I made a new friend, Vivabushchick’s grand-daughter, Naomi.




Naomi and I even ventured out on the dance floor. Groovy music.


Hey, Jim. I like your cowboy hat! You look soooo handsome.

FreetheHostages met us at the National Zoo. What’s that? EEEEEK


C’mon, let’s go. Let’s go.


Freezie shows me the baby elephant but he is tired. I didn’t name the elephants.
Maybe I will name the Mother elephant Kenku. I think I will name the hippo Kristin.
There were two giraffes; this one is Lisa. The other is Jerry.


Okay ...... let’s have dinner. I’m hungry.




Wow ….. this is a fantastic adventure. I love cheese. Isn’t this fun?




Oh My ….. look at that chocolate. I hope I get seconds!


The Melting Pot is a fun place for dinner. We should eat here every night! Okay, Gramma?


We have time for a little shopping before tea!

HIGH TEA ..... I wonder what this is all about.


I acted like a lady. We should do this again.
We had little sandwiches and some delicious teacakes.
I could get used to this.. It’s a pretty ritzy place.


Our trip is over and I’m anxious to get home to Grampa and Louie/Max. I wonder if they missed me.
