But the dangerously revealing gown, prominently advertised in Seventeen Prom, YM Prom and Teen Prom, and on sale in a Midtown shop, is a top seller for the company this season. "I was shocked when I first saw it, but now it's one of our top 20 dresses nationwide," says Nick Yeh,

The Company said it is one of our Top Twenty Dresses Nationwide! Maybe in the Blue Border regions! Not Nationwide. A lot of Lefties think that if it's a big hit in NY and LA the rest of us have to accept it, kind of like the DUMMOS in the election!

WOULD YOU LET YOUR DAUGHTER WEAR THIS PROM DRESS? No, but I would have been glad to pay for one if my Prom date had worn it all those years ago.

When I was still in high school my older sister had a job with a company that very rich people would pay money to lose weight.
One of her clients, went to Thailand and brought my sister as a thank you gift one of those Gotex swimsuits, the kind the SI swim models wear, which at the time, were very difficult for the average Jane to get (the swimsuit that is).
She tried it on and my dad shook his head and said, "Well, if it doesn't embarress you, it won't embarress me".

I dont even think that picture is legal...if that girl is under 18 it sure seems like child porn to me... By those standards, every magazine in America except Readers Digest is porn.
Just what is showing in that pic that doesn't show in a normal bikini at the beach?

I think she has it on backwards.

Just what is showing in that pic that doesn't show in a normal bikini at the beach?Either things have changed a LOT since I was last on the beach (3-4 years), or I've been going to the wrong beach (Marco Is., FL), or you didn't look at the picture at nypost.com. I never saw anything quite that revealing at the beach.

Well, there are two vertical straps instead of one horizoontal one, but still a lot bigger than the minimum bikinis these days where the top is as skimpy as the thong bottom.

It is backwards. The runway model put it on backwards as a joke. I will try to look up the article so I can link it.

Be glad that the question is not about letting your son wear it to the prom.

Great. American girls don't have enough of this impossible standard hanging over them.
I'd like to take this story, the one about the breast implants for 14 yr.olds, and all the teen-aged eating disorders stories, roll them all into a giant ball, and smash that CEO in the head with it.
To: ishabibble
Are you blaming CEOs for eating disorders???? What happen to personal responsibility???
