This crocodile was killed by the army last Sunday at 3:00 pm, currently he is in the freezer at the Azur hotel. ,, no doubt the same hotel freezer that's housed many corpses, coup after coup.

I agree. On the other hand, I have no idea how you'd capture a beast that size. I'll tell you one thing, though, a zoo would have paid enough for one that size to make it worth a try. I'll bet Steve Irwin gets sick to his stomach when he reads this story. Seriously, that guy really loves these things.

WHOA!
That is HUGE!
The man standing near it gives it perspective.
I wouldn't want to meet up with that.

Well, the poor thing was getting old and it was harder to feed himself. And PETA would certainly have approved his change in diet.Yep, this croc has the Earth First and PETA stamp of approval. It's sad to see an 80 year old beast terminated when he could be just as well be happily feasting on natives. He would have been great for a zoo ..... been fed an occasional live (n kicking) one.

Looks like the Congo has at least one functioning mobile crane. Probably the first work the owner's had in years.

He would have been great for a zoo ..... been fed an occasional live (n kicking) one. How true, the videotapes would have really sold in the zoo souvenir store. The traditional zoo volunteer classes would rapidly go extinct, though, and the PETA helpers might be forced to raid nearby homeless shelters.

Should have nabbed it for a zoo somewhere. We need a 21 foot long croc at John Ball Park...

He would have been great in the Central Park zoo..... An occasional stoned out bum could have upped his Soylent Green (minimum daily requirement) protein uptake now and then.
Would have beat out bum fights on pay/view
