Anyone who thinks 24 doesn't have an anti-conservative agenda ain't watching closely. I tuned out during the 1st season for that reason.

I hollered "We're the ones that are watchin' y'all!" when I heard the girl say that she had seen one of the two who are not "Middle Eastern" at the Heritage Foundation.

Oh crap, that was not an "implication". The secretary's daughter said she recognized him from one of their parties.

So far the series has been dead-on in support of the Bush Administration and its policies, down to the dedication of the episode to a soldier killed in Iraq.

Sure it was the Heritage Fundation and not the Chemical Heritage Foundation?

Shouldn't that have been the right wing Neocons' cabal: The P.N.A.C.?

You have got to be kidding me. It's the white supremacist/Nazi/KKK violence movements that do that stuff. What, they couldn't fish for them for a second, but the Heritage Foundation comes right off the top of their heads?

Does anyone wonder if movies like True Lies or The Siege would even be made today? God forbid we actually have movies about events that are likely to happen. Tim McVeigh is dead. His ideas are, at worst, laying dormant in fertile minds. The Islamists are killing people as I type this. I know which one is currently more villianous.

If you pay attention to the teaser to next week's episode, you'll notice that there's another Muslim bigwig in charge--the bad guy from The Mummy movie. Also, there's something sinister about Audrey's husband. He's a Euro-crapweasle who, judging by his appearance, might also be Muslim. Just a guess.

I just finished watching the ep and I didn't read anything sinister into the statement that she recognized the perp from a Heritage Foundation dinner. It was simply the name of the gathering. She saw him there. He's a baddie masquerading as a conservative. So?

Oh, and I forgot about the SecDef's DUmmie son--he's hiding something, too. If the show were to switch from Muslim bad guys to subversive lefie bad guys, then I wouldn't complain.

I can't believe nobody noticed that the "MF" logo (hee hee) was a "military contractor."

Don't get all bent out of shape. At the end of it all, even if some group gets implicated, it'll be run by somebody who's in disguise.

considering that hawkish anti-terrorists have previously starred as '24' villains and that Keifer Sutherland, notorious commie like his dad, stated that one should judge the direction the shows taking too early, there's no doubt that conservatives will bear the brunt of this season as usual

I'm sure that Fox will respond to conservative critics the way they responded to muslim critics and tone down any future connection. < /sarcasm >
