The Patriots no match for Philly defense. Brady will have horrible day. No body blitzes like the Eagles.

I'm pulling for the Eagles in the Super Bowl, but, my allegiance is still with the:

If Belichick wins another SB, he will be up there in the Pantheon...he doesn't have Lombardy's fiery personality, but he is a genius at the xs and os.

The Eagles and Patriots peaked at the right time, hence why they're both in the SB. But I agree with you, the Eagles blitz will overwhelm the Patriots throughout the game.

I'm with you. Any team that can do what they did to the Steelers and the Colts, two excellent teams, is not a team I would want to bet against. I'm not terribly familiar with the Eagles and how they play but from what I saw yesterday, they will have to step it up more than a couple of notches to even compete at the same level as the Pats. That being said, anything can happen and frequently does but I really don't see the Pats losing to the Eagles.
Belichik has a system that his players follow to the letter, just as Lombardi did. They are a team in every sense of the word. There are no superstars, only teammates. They expect to win. This atmosphere of winning is created by one and only one person: the coach. So I would have to agree with you that Belichik is a genious.
Go Pats!

I can't remember the year, I think it was 1987. Doug Williams of the Redskins was quarterback. Elway quarterback for Denver. All the talk 2 weeks before the Super Bowl was how the "great" John Elway would destroy the 'Skins. No talk of Williams. Well, we all know what happened. Doug Williams threw 5 touchdown passes . . in the first half and after the 'Skins were down 10 points! Tom Brady may "look" better, but don't count out McNabb and the Eagles. They could pull this off, and easily.

I probably won't be watching the game for a couple of reasons, the least of which is that I despise both teams. But if I had to make a prediction, I would have to say the Pats are going to decimate Philly. The AFC Championship, IMO, was the Super Bowl this year.

Yep. The Patriots never lose. Even if they have to pull an obscure rule out of the book that no one has ever ever used to make sure their quarterback doesn't fumble, they'll find a way.

. They could pull this off, and easily. Hardly. Belichick is no Dan Reeves.

Andy Reid and his coaching staff are 8-0 when having two weeks to prepare a game plan. Jim Johnson is the best at crafting a defensive schemes to confuse oipposing quarterbacks. The Pats are clearly the favorite, and should be, but the Eagles should not be taken lightly. This is going to be one knockdown, dragout brawl.
