I like to keep my "stash" trimmed neatly. If I don't the wife calls me a walrus and I feel like I should be out in the ocean straining plankton from the water.

Bout time. Clean cut is appealing, always was. Any beard is OK if it is tidy and not 'elaborate'. Depends on the face. But, the absolute worst is the beard that is NOT a beard, I mean just two or three days of beard. Supposed to look cool. Just looks unkept. How'd a guy like to look at a woman with curlers and a torn bathrobe? Well, an unkept face looks like that to me.
