Some pundit said there hasn't been a first lady as popular as Laura since Jackie O. and I'll add she gets more beautiful with age.

I heard the same from a friend of mine today (regarding Laura's popularity). Laura really does get more beautiful every year... I wonder what her secret is. She looked radiant throughout all of the Inaugural events, but looked particularly stunning in that white ballgown.

Actually the gown is the palest of blue to bring out the color of her eyes.....Just appears silver in most of the pictures because of the stage lighting.
