To: Dog Gone

I never played but if you've been to the arena, you can become a fan. Hockey is best in person.

The best televised game is football.

College basketball isn't bad on TV but it's a trip in the field house.

I enjoy baseball on the radio.

I also enjoy the NBA on the radio -- if it is mimed.

I've been to two hockey games, and I enjoyed being there. I just never got attached enough to the sport to follow it in the NHL, at least not to the point where I'd watch it on TV.

I'll follow the American hockey team in the Olympics, especially in the medal rounds, and I'll never forget the victory over the Soviets. I may have even cut class that day to watch that game.

I agree, especially about NFL football. There's a certain excitement to being at the stadium, but watching it on TV is the best way to actually see the game.

I do hope they get this lockout resolved, because diehard hockey fans want their game. And I don't blame them.
