Is this normal day to day business for APmynews? Their report linked above features news of the big day, roughly even handed, but the sponsored links down the page "from google" are to the Carnegie pinkos, an anti-bush rant by commie in chief Chompsky and one other re Australia (google looks up a list according to my IP - therefore yours in the states will be way different).
What do you get as a link? similar?
So google does this all the time? ick!
It's a conspiracy, I tell ya'.
The links are computer generated. It probably depends on who actually buys ads. As for your specific question, I got two ads, one was for a poll site that asks "should Bush be replaced", the other one is selling Bush's "We Will Prevail". So it seems fair enough.
"Police use pepper spray at Bush inauguration
"inauguration" pls read headline as "Police use pepper spray at Bush inauguration"
"Please read in paragraph 1 ... Police used pepper spray to disperse demonstrators ... instead of ... Police sprayed tear gas to disperse demonstrators...
"Please read in paragraph 4 ... saw police use pepper spray against some ... instead of ... saw police use tear gas against some ...
"(Police say they used pepper spray and not tear gas).
"A corrected story follows.
"WASHINGTON, Jan 20 (Reuters) - Police used pepper spray to disperse demonstrators who hurled debris and tried to break through a security fence keeping protesters away from President George W. Bush's inaugural parade on Thursday.
"Several dozen protesters thronged towards the security fence, lobbing bottles, trash and snowballs at police, witnesses said. More than 100 police officers were at the scene where hundreds of protesters had gathered.
"A small group of anti-Bush demonstrators overturned several of the metal security barricades, and a handful of protesters broke through.
"Witnesses said they saw police use pepper spray against some of the protesters. " endquote
hmmmm, one of your media-at-work moments...
