Well, even if he had priors... he admitted to an initial intent to be a troll earlier, but had had some change of heart.

It was one of the more creative "I used to be a liberal, but..." posts that I've seen. But the terminology was a bit too clinical to be sincere. The guy aspired to become a paleoconservative. You don't aspire to that, you just wake up one morning and realize that you are one. Plus, how many people in this country has even heard of the term paleoconservative, let alone knows what one is?

If he was honest, he would have had maybe one or two previous troll posts. But I would guess that he had several other previous attempts to troll, and the mods ran that down.

Plus, I remember my first few posts here. If you are a real newbie red-meat conservative, you don't suck up, you dish it out. Only later do you realize that you can learn something from all the other lunatics here, and start debating instead of just arguing.

I'd have to agree with that. It would be hard to swallow from a 50 year old, much less a 13 year old.

People who announce themselves with self-serving vanities aren't exactly the kind of folks I want to share a thread with, sincere or not.
