There's something about northwestern New Mexico...

Must be high levels of testosterone in the drinking water.

Police say a search of Hanova's Farmington apartment turned up 217 pairs of women's underwear, as well as 24 bras, two pairs of shorts, a skirt and an evening gown.

What, no blouse? :)

Everett Hanova
Last Update: 01/12/2005 6:21:53 PM
By: Todd Dukart

Police say a 34-year-old man had stolen quite a collection of women’s underwear before he was caught Sunday.

Everett Hanova is suspected in a string of 28 home break-ins in the Farmington area since August.

Police say they found more than 200 pairs of women’s underwear in his home, as well as stolen guns, jewelry, electronics and money.

Farmington police Sergeant Steve Burch said officers caught up with Hanova after he was caught in the act.

“Officers were dispatched to an in-progress burglary when a 15-year-old boy caught the suspect,” Burch said. “He challenged him and then fled on foot.”

Burch said they caught Hanova a short time later when he returned to get his car.

I may sound like a square, but why would someone steal women's underwear. Of course the contents of said skivvies are interesting, but this is like swiping Twinkies wrappers.
