Does anyone know how CBS is going to handle Survivor tonight given the President's press conference which is scheduled for 8:30? I want to hear the President address the American people directly but I also want to see Survivor. I have been waiting all week for the show. It's getting very intense!

The Koror Tribe: Caryn, Gregg, Ian, Jennifer, Katie, Stephenie, Tom

The Jury: Coby, “The Quitter”

The Losers: Jonathan, Wanda, Jolanda, Ashlee, Jeff, Kim, Willard, Angie, James, Ibrehem, Bobby Jon,

Just so y’all are informed, I do not have any idea what SeeBS is going to do tonight. If they hold true to form, they will ignore the President’s address and air Survivor. But if they don’t, I would hope they delay the airing of Survivor until after the address. Who knows? Anyway . . .

Greetings fellow Survivor junkies! Its Thursday, so that means its time once again for your weekly:

SURVIVOR PING!

Tonight’s episode is titled: “I'll Show You How Threatening I Am”

From the official SeeBS website, various video promos and spoiler sites across the world wide web, here is what we can expect to see tonight.

Some Survivors entertain the idea of forming a secret alliance and persuade a tribemate to join their pact. We know from the promos that Katie appears to agree to join the other three women against the men, but this is a “red herring.” Katie is not going to give up a good thing. And she has a good thing going, riding on the coat tails of Tom and Ian. (And to a lesser degree Gregg.)

A Survivor heeds some advice and makes personal hygiene improvements, delighting the tribe. At this point, ALL of the remaining seven are probably smelling pretty ripe. So I don’t think this clue will offer much insight to the outcome of the game.

As the game nears its conclusion, three castaways formulate individual strategies for surviving the upcoming Tribal Council. Well, we know that Stephenie is formulating like crazy, cuz she almost got the boot last week, and it doesn’t look any better this week. Tom looses the ugly necklace this week, so he has to think in the back of his mind that he’s on the chopping block. And the third is probably Gregg or Jenn. They have got to know that a decision is needed soon regarding which way their alliance is going to swing.

The Reward Challenge appears to be the old rehashed letters from home combined with food auction. This will be a precursor for the old family visit challenge which will probably occur next week.

The Immunity Challenge appears to be the old “break the tiles with a coconut” type challenge. Only this time, the tiles are suspended horizontally and the players toss coconuts like they were tossing bean bags.

Well, there you have it:

Cuz’s Weekly Survivor Picks!

Reward Challenge winner – Everyone wins a little something.
Immunity Challenge winner - Ian
Bootee (and 3rd member of the Jury) - Stephenie

Take care,

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside,
thoroughly used up,
totally worn out,
and loudly proclaiming....
Wow, what a ride!"

Freepmail me if you want added to or removed from the Survivor Ping List!
