I liked Tom up until last night's episode. He caved in and was going to vote Stephanie out. He practically said so when Jeff asked him if Stephanie was the type he would want on his team as a co-worker. He said yes for work, but this is a game.... Steph owes him nothing now. Game on.

One more thing about Steph. Her living is made in the sales/marketing arena. She knows how to overcome "people" obstacles and she will play the game wisely. She is a fighter. Go Steph.

I think you're right. From the previews of next week's episode, it looks like Steph goes on the offensive. The question is, however, whether she will be able to turn the others against Tom. The dynamics are kind of against her given that the others are all original Koror members and have had such a long time to bond and form allegiences.

True, but that was before Stephanie's emotional plea to remain in the game, and before Janu's inane comments about not caring if she stayed around. It appeared to me from Tom's reaction that he was having second thoughts. I wish Jeff wouldn't have pushed Janu out of the game, because it would have been really interesting to see how the vote would have gone. I think Tom (and perhaps Ian) probably would have crossed back over and voted for Janu. But we shall never know...
