But look at this another way:
Jeff told the group, when they were picking tribes, that the last two players remaining (i.e. not selected) would be eliminated. They knew ahead of time, so in effect, when they were not picked to be on a tribe, they were voted off the island.
If Jeff had NOT told them that the last two would be eliminated, then I would concede your point. But since he did tell them, I contend they were in fact voted off by not being picked.
The Koror Tribe: Caryn, Coby, Gregg, Ian, Janu, Jennifer, Katie, Tom
The Ulong Tribe: Stephenie
The Losers: Angie, Ashlee, Bobby Jon, Ibrehem, James, Jeff, Jolanda, Jonathan, Kim, Wanda, Willard
Greetings fellow Survivor junkies! Its time once again for your weekly:
Well, well, well. We are down to our final nine. From this point out (unless Mark Burnett and company is planning on really messing with our heads) every bootee will become a member of the Jury. So I thought I would revisit my predictions from post number 1 and see how I did.
I predicted that the following would be Pre-Jury boots:
Angie (correct),
Caryn (oops),
Coby (oops),
Ian (oops),
Ibrehem (correct),
James (correct),
Jeff (correct),
Jennifer (oops),
Katie (oops),
Kim (correct)
Wanda (correct).
Not too bad, 6 out of 11 correct or 54.5%.
Unfortunately, it also means that I only got 3 out of the final 9 correct. Or 33.33%
I predicted the following would be the final nine:
Ashlee (oops),
Bobby Jon (oops),
Jonathan (oops),
Stephenie (correct),
Willard (oops),
Gregg (oops),
Janu (correct),
Jolanda (oops),
Tom (correct).
Oh well, at least I gave myself an out with the disclaimer that this is based on only a brief glimpse of their profiles. So, with that in mind lets get on to this weeks picks.
According to a compilation of the official SeeBS Website, the promo vidcaps for episode 9 and the various spoiler websites, the following is what we can expect to see tonight.
Tonights episode is titled: I Will Not Give Up
One Survivor struggles to endure a hard night as life on the island becomes tougher this deep into the game. I think we all know they are talking about Stephenie here. She is all alone at Ulong camp with nobody to talk to, nobody to fetch her food, nobody to build a fire, or go get water, or crack her coconuts. Next!
After being excluded from a tribal excursion, one Survivor throws a tantrum. Again, we all know from the promos who throws the hissy fit. None other that Korors very own drama queen, Coby. Next!
One tribe enjoys a memorable evening, especially for the member who overindulges a bit. I think we will finally get the merge and the memorable evening is the typical Merge Feast.
The following promo vidcaps support my contention that we merge this week. (These vidcaps are courtesy of the good folks over at www.truedorktimes.com)
I think this proves that Stephenie has in fact joined the Koror tribe, (whether or not they change tribal names and buffs remain to be seen) and the two natives bringing a feast to camp includes some kind of Adult Beverage (a little Rush lingo there) with one of the members overindulging a bit in celebration.
Last week I made the bold prediction that the first member of the Jury will be Coby and Im now prepared to explain my reasons for stating so.
1. Coby has time and time again, proved to be somewhat of a physical challenge threat. He has repeatedly bested the Ulong men in head to head competitions.
2. Coby has also proved to be a mental challenge threat as well, winning the last two puzzle challenges in a row.
3. Coby is not in Ian & Toms alliance circle at Koror.
4. Coby has not been afraid to speak his mind at Koror and his hissy fit this week puts a big target on his back.
Now, it appears from the promos that Tom wins the first individual immunity challenge. I think that the odds are very good, Tom and Ian manages to convince the rest that Coby needs to go now, before he can make a potential immunity run.
Well, there you have it:
Take care,
"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside,
thoroughly used up,
totally worn out,
and loudly proclaiming....
Wow, what a ride!"
