I wasn't aware that Tom was required to keep his word to someone who was planning to backstab him in order to keep him in the game.
Good point. At tribal council Tom still seemed confused about Gregg's betrayal. He apologized to Gregg for thinking that Gregg had betrayed him, even though in reality Gregg did betray him. I guess Gregg's speech succeeded in making Tom feel guilty, but then Tom's apology hopefully made Gregg feel guilty enough to vote for Tom.
What I'll never get over is Coby's telling Katie "I'm voting against Tom! I'm not voting for YOU!" This is of course, after Coby makes the statement to Tom that "you almost played that game as conniving (or whatever the word was) as I would have." So Tom was less of a maniputing jerk than Coby planned to be. And then to say "I'll be listening for the truth." I yelled back at the TV "You little drama queen - you wouldn't know the truth if it jumped up, shook your hand and ran back and bit you in the butt." STEPHANIE was the one that outed your spilling the beans - and EVERYONE voted you out, okay? You were NOT a threat - you were a whiney little bitch and everybody had just about had enough of you.
