I don't think I've ever been injured in my life when I wasn't sober.

I was sober as a teetotaler when that SOB Lyme Disease Carrying Tick bit me.

I was sober as a teetotaler when I fell and cracked my skull.

I had only two beers (honest!) when I fell into the oven.

I'm almost convinced I'd be better off if I stayed half drunk. :-)

I still see the Doctor every few days and I am healing well. She is keeping a close watch to make sure no infection sets in. She keeps telling me how good it is looking though it still looks pretty yucky to me. :-(
