I'm sure that's what they tell you if you ask. But I can't imagine they would actually follow through on such a thing. It's a bluff.

What happens if you hit the button in your car? You said they come on and try to sell you the service. Is that true?


There are three buttons:
1. A white/phone button you can use to subscribe for hands free phone service.

2. A blue button which connects you to an "advisor" who will get the appropriate assistance if you are a subscriber or is happy to sign you up if you are not a subscriber.

3. A red cross button to push for an emergency. (I am not about to test this button).


If you are a subscriber there is an automatic signal sent if the air bag deploys. They will call you and, if you don't answer, will send emergency assistance. (I don't know whether this feature is activated for a non-subscriber).

Why don't you test the red button in a non-subscribers car and let me know what happens. OK?

Dave, if I'm not mistaken, Reggie just invited us over to his house and asked us to take a spin in his car. ;o)
