Who told you David was not in Heaven? For that matter, who told you being "annointed" was a greater honor than being Theotokos?

You are so quick to question the ability of others to read and interpret scripture I am certain you can direct (the stupid people) to the appropriate "Theokosas" scripture.

Please do.

Try reading the whole thing and not just cherrypicking parts of verses. Peter is here (at Pentecost, this Sunday) saying that David did not ascend into Heaven until Jesus had defeated death.

I have read the whole thing and I need your help. Please direct me to the "until" part.

(SD) We understand Scripture as written

No, you understand it as you interpret it. Just like everyone else does.

I hate to disagree with you oh gentle person but I think, in the case of the RCC - and SD, the proper word is "interpolate".

Yeah. but I mean domesticated cats. Dogs are mentioned and so are wolves. I just thought it was kind of odd since domesticated cats have been around since ancient Egypt, or roughly 3500 BCE. It isn't important, I just found it curious.

No cat has ever been domesticated. They may exist in a domestic environment but they are not the domesticated ones.

We must have domesticated them to some degree because they have trained us very well. :)

Good point. They've just been bred to be too small to prey on us. ;o)

I thought of yall this weekend. We had a community ladies event at our church yesterday. We had Baptists, Catholics, Methodist(only 1) and Church of Christs together. Of course we all sat at our own tables though:')

I imagine the Methodist was all alone at the Head Table? :-)

I hadn't thought about it but there were 3 tables up front. The Catholics were on the left. The Church of Christ were in the middle and some out of town Baptist who brought the music were on the right. The Methodist lady sat in the back with us. No one sat alone. We saw to that:')

I bought a new Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 2.0 (a lot of Microsoft baloney to describe a simple Optical Mouse).

I did so for two reasons: My old remote mouse ate batteries for lunch and, most important, Staples had this mouse on sale for $12.94. The "regular" price is $49.98.

My old setup was a combination remote mouse and keyboard and I wasn't certain whether the new mouse would co-exist with the keyboard. I loaded the new software, unpluged the old mouse, and connected the new one. Voila! It works perfectly.

I think you'll be very satisfied with your new setup.

I can't help but wonder if someone (the two Aunt's that cleaned up after Grandma's death) talked her into changing her will? Also, why didn't the lawyer contact all family members about the reading of the will? Anyway, I wondering if you thought someone that took their religion so seriously could or would disinherit their godchild, for no good reason?

This sounds rather convoluted and it seems that even you don't know all of the particulars. That said, it would be entirely unethical for a lawyer to not invite people to a will-reading who are mentioned in it. It is his responsibility to see that his client's wishes are followed. If you believe that you or others were supposed to receive assets according to the will and you did not, you might have legal recourse. As an interested party, you should at least be able to see a copy of the will to see if it was changed.

As for being godparents and what responsibility this brings, I can only point out that the idea is to provide a Catholic upbringing for the child, especially in the case of the loss of the parents. That is, my sister and her husband are the godparents to my Sarah. I would expect them to help me to bring her up right. I would expect them to raise her in the event my wife and I would die prematurely.

But I don't have an expectation that Sarah would inherit anything from them.

That said, if godchildren were included in estate planning, I would think they would only be removed for good cause.
