When I was young, I used to frost and highlight my hair, and I had it done in a shop-red hair is too easy to screw up frosting on-one time I did it at home, I ended up with pink frosting-it looked like cake icing gone wrong. Another time, it ended up sort of orange-like a fox with mange. But since I've been back to my natural color for all these years and all I'm doing is covering gray, I do it myself.

It was a home frosting job gone wrong that caused me to have my hair colored at the salon the first time.........sigh.

First thing I did was pull far too much hair through the cap. Second thing I did wrong was answer the door when friend showed up. We got talking and having a couple of beers (it was a Friday night) and I forgot the time. Not only was the majority of my hair white........it had the texture of straw.
