But, yes, in Seasons 1 and Seasons 2 it was a cabal of American right wingers that were ultimately behind the threat. SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER DO NOT READ FURTHER IF YOU DO NOT WANT PART OF SEASON 2 SPOILED WARNING MAJOR SPOILER In Season 2, for example, the plot to detonate an atomic bomb in Los Angeles turned out to be a plot by Big Oil to increase the value of their companies. Stupid, stupid plot twist that could have come from a Michael Moore film.
