Help with computer (vanity but at least I put it in chat)

I've done something and don't know how to reset it. I'm sure the answer is very simple but it's eluding me.

One day last week I noticed that when I begin a new email message it types in light yellow (so pale it cant be read) type. Each time I have to go up to the Big A(font color) and select automatic. Then it'll type in black

What did I do and how can I set it go back and default it to type in black automatically?

Thanks

Not that any of you will ever run across "yellow type" again, but if you do I think I found the permanent solution to the problem.

Over the holidays I was using christmas stationary. When I changed back to blank...the yellow type appeared.

The change I stumbled across was this...

Open a new email
IN the 3rd row of toolbars, choose the downward arrow triangle thingie next to the options choose stationary. Under theme choose blank, then Choose "always use my fonts" and make sure automatic is selected.

I have black type back now.

somehow one of the holiday stationary settings must have done something:(

Thanks everyone for your suggestions

It's so funny too, before I discovered FReeRepublic he'd be on here playing games, etc. and I'd get so mad at him. Tell him there is more to life than computer! Ok so I was wrong.

He must be smiling....where does he play games now?

He got the old computer. I got the new one. HaHa! I am the Queen ya know. He's quite happy playing games on that old thing. Which isn't that old actually. We just got ripped off with it. Bought the one on NBC shopping show. Filled with all kinds of software. Rotten comp though!

You got to build your own to get a really good one...and for serious carefree FreeRepublic browsing ( no malware ) run Xandros V3 (Linux with Firefox) on it.

Put Windows XP on a machine for the vital stuff, but don't let it go near the internet.

See this:

Exploit code attacks unpatched IE bug ( Even the new SP2-Service Pack 2-is vulnerable )
