Ya gotta blame this one on stupidity.
the east coast always has such disdain for the west coast.....sorry to say but ESPN and all news outlets don't even cover the west as much as the east......we resent that just as much.......
There is justice: wide right.
Jets just got a break on the missed FG in OT.
Jets still alive...
RBs get hit in the head every run. WRs get hit in the head whenever they catch a pass. DL/OL get hit in the head every play. THAT IS WHY YOU HAVE A HELMENT.
I don't care if it is "fair and balanced." It is not football. You can hit people in football. They are trying to avoid you. When you are hitting someone you hit what you can get.
Kids who play football like contact. If you don't like contact, you should play another sport. The fact that you think being a QB is glamorous is great, but it is not for you if you do not like the contact that comes with the sport.
I think we , on this board, are very well aware of the sacrifices our troops are making...there is room here for interest in more than one thing, or didja just sign up today to stir things up.
Before you get too self righteous, you better figure out the rules...
So how do you feel about 33% of your income being taken from you at the point of a gun and you have little to say about how it is spent?
haha......you are a funny guy.........I played football and your arguement is incorrect.....the reason why running backs and wide outs and even QB's when they run can be hit in the head is that when you duck or juke when trying to avoid a tackle it is impossible not to hit a head. A flagrant hit to the head like a clothesline is not legit not is a hit to the head to one that does not carry the ball nor trying to run with it......by the way smart guy. Where in my post did I say being a QB is a glamor position. I was a linebacker and never defend QB's but I know the rules and what I can and can not do
Come on, shockleyjensen. It is sports. People care about sports, the soldiers care about sports, and we care about the soldiers. I understand that sports mean nothing, really. But come on, people need to live, laugh and have fun. Even in the darkest day of every war ever fought, someone finds time to laugh, make love, live life. It happens. Don't be so tough on the guy.
I agree with you.
Looks like the Jets will win anyway.
ps..........I also played rugby and intramural street hockey in college.........all as defense men......I don't think you want to go there with me not wanting contact. Legit contact is ok......plus, your Jets just won so stop crying, you sound like a Democrat
Barton gets a reprieve, but he still should have his contract ripped up in his face.
Moot Point since Jets Won in OT with a field goal.
Jets screw Chargers.
