Oh--love Raising Arizona. Hubby did too. Nic Cage never looked or sounded nuttier, especially when he said, after robbing a convenience store "you know, honey, I'm ok, you're ok.."

Blah. Who wrote that? Here's a better list for you. (Political viewpoints of actors ignored (GASP!) for the purpose of this list.)

When Harry Met Sally
Much Ado About Nothing
Emma
You've Got Mail
Notting Hill
Bridget Jones' Diary
The Wedding Planner
Shakespeare In Love
Sleepless in Seattle
Sense and Sensibility

and who could forget....
Gone With the Wind

....just to name a few.

OK, I will agree you are ALL Right, but since your list lacks any Audrey Hepburn, guys like me will not watch!

Okay, well then add "My Fair Lady" and "Breakfast at Tiffany's"

I regret to say I have never seen "Roman Holiday", but I guess I need to do that...it seems to be a popular choice.

When he and Strausser first meet in Rick's, he says he is Checkoslovakian. Strausser says he may have been, but now he is a citizen of the Third Reich. Victor says that is a privilage he has declined to accept.

Wow, just got chills down my spine. Seriously, I have to watch Casablanca tonight. Was going to try Troy, but I have been told it kinda...sucked. Any comments?

Actually, my wife & daughter are quite intelligent. But I have dated a few idiots in my time; and I'm sure I've dated a few that thought the same of me. Cheers.

Okay, let me try to rephrase this. Do you know any women that would watch anything of substance or only the silly stuff you emunerated?

I CANNOT believe "When Harry Met Sally" is not on this list. It is the best chick flick of all.
(My hubby likes it too)

Just be advised that the original picks were from a chick named Kim Adelman at ContactMusic.com. As for my own preference of Chick movies, if they have Audrey Hepburn, I'll watch. Otherwise, I'd rather watch paint peel!

The Wife watches some others, but I'm usually arranging the sock drawer while they are on!

Don't know anything about Troy other than reading so so reviews. SWIMBO and I watch Casablanca every New Year's Eve. It's tradition for us. Then Turner had it on on New Year's Day, so it was fresh in my memory. Can't go wrong watching a classic.
