Someday, when my two young children are old enough to understand, I'll tell them that January 6th, 2005 was the day the Democratic Party and Democracy died in America.

What an idiot. A much higher number of people voted in each party, the vote was nearly 51 / 49 and except for a few Dim attacking Republican HQs, the election was held in peace. How much more democracy can you get that this?

I'm sorry, I did not read past the first paragraph. Was the rest of it as stupid?

"Democracy" to the hard left is defined as "the hard left in power." Cf. the German "Democratic" Republic, the "Democratic" Peoples' Republic of Korea, etc.
