Cool looking cats. I have to occasionally resist getting a 3rd one. A female calico with an attitude and a male tomcat is enough though.

Now we have a dachshund to keep them in line. (from a paws length, she learned quickly that they arent declawed)

Big ol' cats. About the size of a Maine Coon - 18 lbs for a moderately big male. Mrs Felis' cousin lives with one, never checked but he looks to be in the high teens (the cat not the cousin). Nice disposition though.

We have two cats as well, but we have a retire racing greyhound. The cats have both tried to put the dog in her place, but the cats lose. They now just leave her alone, and she lies on the bed.

Our cat, Stuffy, is the leader of the dog pack here. She started out not putting up with any guff from the dogs, and now she is the boss.

Being off today I was watching the dachshund chase the mean female around, she got slapped with the claws and yelped then went back for more. Its funny watching them. The male cat is mellow.
I let them keep their claws for defense, the puppy can be mean. Even though the leather couch corner looks to be sandblasted from claw sharpening.

Greyhound = 70lb dog breed for thousands of years to chase down at over 40 mph a small, approximately 10lb fury animal.

Cats = Approximately 10lb fury animal.

The cats have learned to leave the dog alone.
