Stone hinted he'd make changes to the DVD of the movie. He said the "bond" in the homosexual scene could be "suggested in different ways". Perhaps Stone can depict a gay bar scene---like in Star Wars ---only all the actors are in drag, clad in pink satin, and carrying feather dusters. Real subtle, not flaming faggotry.

I think it would improve the movie. If Mel Brooks does a spoof of Gladiator/Troy/Alexander, he would make a mint!!!

Oliver Stone can be exonerated by calling those who refuse to see his PC sanctioned lie-fest as mere homophobes Stone jumped the shark a while back. Probably with "JFK". He's confusing the entertainment business with
art, politics, personal beliefs, intoxicant-induced reality, ego, and an in-your-face attitude.

Stone is a more snooty form of michel moore. He learned that lying about history is just as profitable as telling the true story.

how about a character with seriously flawed " 'gay'dar"?

I mean, I read the news, and the connections to this movie and ...
maybe it is too much of a stretch ..."
Unless Colin is a priest, I think it is too much of a stretch!

Michael Moore did what Oliver Stone talked about back in 1988, made a propaganda film to slam candidate Bush.
In 1988 he wanted to produce/release a film based on "Brought to Light" about the CIA and Iran-Contra. He was unable to get the film funded and completed before the election so he dropped the matter altogether.
The 1980s are called the decade of "greed" because of Stone's Wall Street yet there was much more greed in Clinton's 90s.

Stone, director of Platoon and Born On The Fourth Of July, said: "There's a raging fundamentalism in morality in the US."Raging Fundamentalism", huh? Seems to me the adjective "Raging" is normally reserved for the other side of this sexuality argument.

"From day one, audiences didn't show up. They didn't even read the reviews in the South because the media was using the words 'Alex the gay'.
HollyWeird is so stupid. It's a typical leftist mindset for them to think that if they shovel crap in our direction and tell us that it's "gold", sooner or later, we'll believe that it's really "gold"!
You've gotta love the South, and it's GOT to gall a movie maker who can't even get people to take notice, much less check out a review. :-)

They stayed away because of bad press, which they didn't read. And word of mouth didn't help because no-one saw it in the first place.
