I saw them a few times this year and never understood how they were ranked so high.

USC looked like they could take on a pro team last night. Hats off to em.

No they didn't. It wasn't them. I have it on good authority that the entire OU team was kidnapped on New Year's Eve and substituted with alien look-alikes who have never played football before.

No kidding, and I'm a Sooner fan! Some of us wondered who kidnapped our team, and substituted that high school team. I wonder if Oklahoma can get a refund on that HUGE Bob Stoops contract negotiated (of course) before the Orange Bowl game?

I love this. As an Oregon fan, I've been raised to severely NOT LIKE the Trojans. And really, I have no beaf against the Sooners. But, this game does two things I think needed to be done.
#1. It Screws the BCS. Should have been USC vs. Auborn or Utah.
#2. Slows the chorus of "Weak Pac-10".

Oklahoma and Texas A&M both looked like bottom tier top 20 teams in their bowl games. Tennessee looked a lot better than where they ended up because two of their three losses were to Auburn and one loss was after two quarterbacks bit the dust at the Notre Dame game. Auburn deserved to play for the top spot as did Utah but this is Monday morning quarterbacking. Nothing is perfect...Texas and Texas Tech did well though.

IMO, USC isn't as good as they looked...And OU isn't as bad as they looked....A team can't shoot themselves in their feet...and expect to beat good teams. All in all...if you didn't have a dog in that fight, or were an OU fan...it was a horrible game.
Kudos to USC....they came ready to play..and took advantage of what OU gave them.
FWIW-

No way Oklahoma is #3...
They are so over-rated. Texas should be #3, OK about 5th or 6th
