Hey, you the Mojo man. It could have meant anything!
Auburn's conference schedule is tough enough- unlike the Pac 10.
Got the winner right, but that's about the extent of it.
'Boy did Oklahoma look like crap.'
No they didn't. It wasn't them. I have it on good authority that the entire OU team was kidnapped on New Year's Eve and substituted with alien look-alikes who have never played football before.
No kidding, and I'm a Sooner fan! Some of us wondered who kidnapped our team, and substituted that high school team. I wonder if Oklahoma can get a refund on that HUGE Bob Stoops contract negotiated (of course) before the Orange Bowl game?

Didn't 6 of those teams go to Bowls? |
But, but, I keep hearing that the BCS worked?
Beauty Contest System
So let's have the Steelers and Patriots play the Superbowl, and replace the NFL playoffs with just a bunch of bowl games. Then more teams can end the season with wins and their fans all happy, right?
I'm sure Auburn and VT would have had no trouble lighting it up against Pitt either. Speaking of teams not belonging in the BCS- Pitt should have been dropped in favor of Cal, Boisie St or Louiville
As a life-long Hawkeye fan, may I ask, "Bobby Who" ?
OU will be back. I will leave it at that.
LOL.
You nailed OU's score.
LOL--GMTA?
Add all 3 Florida schools, Georgia, and my school, Texas, to that list.
Though things are improving, I think the beauty contest judges, er, pollsters, have finally figured out that Nebraska may not be pre-season top 5 anymore...
Us Virginia Tech fans didn't think so. Other than LSU, we were the only team to hold Auburn under 20 pts. all season.
And, against a lesser defense, those first three field goals would've been touchdowns.
Yes, I'm biased. What's your point? ;-)
I dont know about Miami. They have a tough start with Gore injured, but I thought they had a good team. Maybe not top 10 but top 20.
>> The Trojans became just the second team to go No. 1 wire-to-wire in The Associated Press Top 25, and the 10th team to repeat as national champs.<<
Translation:
2004-05 was only the second year that the AP correctly guessed the eventual national champion at the start of the season.
BTW - try "nylon mesh"
Both Bush and White are returning from the backfield. And USC has had among the top recruting classes the past few years.
