Don't forget -- both USC and Auburn played VT this year. USC won by a bigger margin. Granted, a team at the first game of the season is not the same team at the end of the season. Still, it is the one benchmark we have with which to compare the teams this season. USC comes out on top. Fight on!!!!!

In the past three years, USC's 11 point victory over Virginia Tech (played back east in front of 92,000) was the closest any non-conference team has gotten to them. Their last out of conference loss came to Kansas State in Sept 2002 - the season they beat Colorado by 37, Notre Dame by 30 and Auburn by 13.
