You know, you've pointed out my one discontent with freerepublic.... the Search function blows.

In four different postings over the past 2 months I have performed a search to determine if the topic had already been posted, and found nothing. For example, I check on the name "al-Zarqawi", and the most recent posting was from November.

Perhaps the Search engine is taking a siesta?
